MEET OUR FAMILY
Shamrock Foods Company began in 1922 when Irish immigrant W.T. McClelland and his wife, Winifred, began a small dairy in Arizona. With only 20 cows and a dream, they opened Shamrock Dairy, conducting all the milking, bottling, and delivery of the high-quality milk themselves. The McClelland family’s strong work ethic transformed their small family-owned business into what is now a nationally ranked, privately held, Forbes 500 company with over 5,200 associates.

Today Shamrock is still family-owned and -operated, remains based in family values and committed to the families and communities we serve. It’s a 100-year tradition, one we build on every day because our associates are what set Shamrock apart.

NOURISHING OUR COMMUNITIES

Caring for the communities we serve is an integral part of our business. Our longstanding community pillars include faith, family, friends and freedom, with supported programs selected based on hunger, educational and agricultural impact. Shamrock supports a myriad of nonprofit organizations multiple ways, including associate volunteer opportunities, and donates over 450,000 pounds of food to local food banks annually.
