Job Description

Plans, installs, tests, and documents computer programs by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties: 

  • Consults with user to identify current operating procedures and clarify objectives.
  • Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop solution and submits plan to user for approval.
  • Plans, designs, tests, and implements software solutions to accomplish goals of user request.
  • Analyzes and reviews software program functionality to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Installs and tests programs at user sites.
  • Monitors performance of program after implementation.
  • Assists users to solve operating problems including recreating steps to locate source of problem and creates program specifications to correct errors.
  • Writes documentation to describe business procedures and program logic.
  • Writes manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures.
  • Trains users to use program and provides technical assistance.
  • Specific computer related knowledge and skills which include computer hardware, operating systems, databases, and programming languages are required of this position. These requirements vary depending on the specific hardware platform(s) on which the employee will work and will be determined as each specific opening occurs. These specific knowledge and skill requirements will then be issued as an addendum to this job description
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • One or more years’ experience performing the essential responsibilities of this position

  • Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Project Implementation, Customization, Upgrades, and Production Support
  • Multi-site implementations
  • SharePoint 2010 or above
  • SQL query and basic report writing
  • Agile Development methodology
