Summary and Essential Duties
Summary: Responsible for the operation of the computerized maintenance management system (Maximo) including administration of work orders, preventive maintenance logs, parts procurement, parts inventory and reporting processes. Will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Shift Leads to develop and maintain equipment logs, preventive maintenance schedules, job plans, spare parts listings, and vendor lists utilizing Maximo. Must develop and maintain processes to keep accurate records of all items entering and leaving designated maintenance storerooms, and ensure that all inventories are maintained at the proper levels. Will be required to purchase items for the department under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager. Will be required to assist Maintenance Craftsmen with rebuilds, line calls and other duties where assistance is required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 5+ years related experience and training
- Must have good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Experience with Maximo or similar maintenance management system
