Inventory Control Clerk - Denver, CO

Summary:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for conducting all aspects of in-store receiving and inventory accountability. Primary focus is monitoring and conducting daily cycle counts, receiving and monitoring gross margin performances throughout the day. Prepare reports and assist in presenting results to management on daily activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and monitor all applicable reports for Team and conducts all cycle count activity to ensure correct processes are being followed, identifies trends, and corrects deficiencies, as measured by cycle count reports.
  • Performs all receiving duties including checking in vendors and reconciling invoices to PO’s.
  • Monitors individual E-mail to ensure all requests are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Monitors and audits all catch weight receiving’s. Ensure all catch weights are input correctly.
  • Creates and updates inventory control policies/procedures (as required) for all related processes.
  • Ensures work area is clean, sanitary and free of debris and responsible for back room organization
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years related work experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the food service business and retail store transaction processing
  • Good customer service/personal interaction skills
  • Ability to analyze/interpret operational and inventory data to identify trends and root causes and present solutions.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Must be available to work with the demands of the department which include weekends and holidays
