Compliance Coordinator - Eastvale, CA

Summary: Develops, implements and audits documentation and reports to ensure internal regulatory compliance. Oversees HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and all Food Safety processes and prerequisite programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate documentation and recordkeeping of all Company, State and Federal activities related to the Operations Compliance Team. Includes (but not limited to) temperature monitoring, product inspections, audits, task lists, food Safety policies, deviations and corrective actions.
  • Works closely with 3rd party auditing companies and divisional assets to ensure company food safety and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Coordinates activities concerned with regulatory inspections related to food safety and operational aspects.
  • Maintains current knowledge of applicable 3rd party audit requirements, food safety practices and other related regulatory information that may affect Shamrock’s processes, products and customers.
  • Coordinates accurate root-cause analysis to generate prevention strategies and implement preventative and corrective actions.
  • On-going development and administration of facility compliance program to include all internal and external audits. Coordinates and assists in compliance reviews and audits as set out in the Facility Compliance Program.
  • Develops and delivers training as requested / required.
  • Supports Operations department as needed by providing back-up coverage for other key team members in areas such as Payroll and Data Analysis.
  • Responds to reports of deviations, emergencies and concerns related to food safety and assists in timely corrections.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Two years related experience preferred
  • College education preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management as well as customers. Ability to effectively translate to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong computer skills including office, outlook, web-based database interaction and ability to do on-line research.
  • Must be willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends and holidays
